At Nurture Connect (www.nurtureconnect.com) we love finding the best products for our customers and our Sales Consultants. We are truly passionate about testing products before offering them our customers—and, we work hard at it. When products that we stand behind with distribution, education and our “special brand of nurturing” win awards – we get excited! For us it solidifies our belief that we know how to pick winners!
Four of our favorite companies received product awards in the third annual New Product & Technology Awards® organized by the Mature Market Resource Center and we couldn’t be more proud. The general criteria used for judging included:
- Is the entry appropriate for an older adult audience?
- Is the product/technology user-friendly for older adults? (Consider device assembly, set up, and ease-of-use.)
- Will the product/technology be beneficial to the user and/or their family?
- Does the product/technology fill a need within the market?
While hundreds of entries are received, not all entries receive one of the Gold, Silver, Bronze or Merit awards. Here are the products carried by Nurture Connect that were honored with an award.
Dakim BrainFitness Software won two Gold awards. Dakim’s consumer software is designed for use on a home computer and won a Gold award in the Fitness/Wellness category. Their Professional Edition software, designed for healthcare professionals, picked up a Gold award in the Rehabilitation/Therapy category.
MedFolio won two awards. A Silver was awarded to the MedFolio pillbox, which we like to call “The MedFolio Medication Management System.” The MedFolio Cares Program picked up a Bronze for the service that includes monthly visits from a licensed pharmacist to assist patients, caregivers, and their families to successfully utilize the MedFolio Pillbox and its many features to ensure that the “right doses” of medications are taken at the “right time” at home.
Telikin Touch Computer won Gold in the Computer Technology/Software category. For those of you who have touched a Telikin, you understand that it’s a winning experience.
ClearSounds won a Merit award each for the Amplified Cordless Freedom Deluxe phone and the Amplified Spirit phone. ClearSounds has fantastic technology in their amplified telephones that bring back the joy of listening.
We’re proud to carry products that others recognize for what they bring to the market. All of these products fill a basic consumer need. All of them are innovative in their own right. And, each of them integrates a combination of innovation and technology in a simply way that truly serves that needs of those caring for loved-ones or those who are simply looking to age in place in their own homes.
